" 5/16" Diameter Chromoly Pushrod Set

The Texas Speed 7.400 pushrod is a one-piece, SAE 4130 chromoly pushrod engineered for LS-based engines. Constructed from SAE 4130 chromoly tubing, these pushrods are centerless ground to exacting tolerances and case hardened to Rc 60. They feature a 5/16" diameter and a .080" wall thickness, designed for stability during high-RPM operation. The pushrods are heat-treated and include oil holes that are drilled and chamfered to prevent stress fractures and cracks. These are highly recommended for any valvetrain upgrade on LS engines. The standard LS1/LS2/LS6/L92/LS3/L99 engine length is 7.400". For custom valvetrain setups, using an adjustable pushrod measuring tool is advised, as pushrod length can be affected by numerous variables including block deck height, head deck height, head stud boss height, rocker arm design, cam base circle size, lifter design, and valve stem length. This pushrod fits most LS engines, including the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, L92, and L99. Specific applications include 1997-2014 Corvette, 1999-2002 Camaro & Firebird, 2010-2013 Camaro, 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO, 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V, 2008-2009 Pontiac G8, 2000-2013 Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade, 2003-2009 H2 Hummer, 2001-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, and 1999-2013 Silverado & Sierra (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). It is not compatible with the LS7 engine.
