5/16" ID Fuel Hose

The RaceFlux FKM SAE J30 R9 Push-Lock Fuel Hose, with a 5/16" inner diameter, is engineered for robust performance in demanding automotive applications. Its inner bore is constructed from Viton® Fluoroelastomer (FKM), ensuring exceptional compatibility with a wide range of automotive fluids and vapors, including fuels (racing, ethanol-based like E85+, diesel, methanol), engine oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, coolants, water, and air. This hose features an aramid fiber braid for reinforcement, providing increased strength and durability. The outer layer is made from Epichlorohydrin (ECO) rubber, which offers a higher maximum operating temperature compared to standard Nitrile rubber. The hose meets SAE J30 R9 standards for permeation and is certified for use with various racing fuels and ethanol blends without degrading, hardening, or permeating fuel vapor. Ideal for applications such as breather and vent lines, fuel lines (outside of the tank), gauge and sensor lines, and vacuum lines, this black hose is also conductive and anti-static. It is NHRA approved. The hose can be used with RaceFlux and other brand push-lock or hose barb fittings. However, hose clamps (worm-gear or Oetiker ear clamps) are required when using smooth hose barb fittings or push-lock fittings with an operating pressure above 10 psi to prevent failure.
