The Rockford Fosgate R152-S is a 5.25-inch 2-way component speaker system from the PRIME series, engineered to deliver authentic Rockford Fosgate sound as a direct factory replacement. It utilizes a Mica-injected polypropylene cone for enhanced frequency response, paired with a 1/2-inch Mylar balanced dome tweeter designed to reproduce clear high frequencies. This system is built for straightforward installation, featuring an in-line crossover for simplifying wiring. The woofers have a foam surround and a stamped steel basket, while the tweeters can accommodate flush, surface, or angle mounting. The kit comes complete with two woofers, two grilles, two tweeters, integrated crossovers, and all necessary mounting hardware, sold as a pair. With a power handling of 40 watts RMS and 80 watts peak, and a nominal impedance of 4-Ohm, these speakers are CEA-2031 compliant. The midrange mounting depth is 1.91 inches, and the tweeter mounting depth is 1.06 inches, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of factory speaker locations. The R152-S offers a frequency response from 58Hz to 20kHz.
