The Alpine S2-S50 is a set of 5.25" coaxial speakers designed for entry-level sound performance and Hi-Res Audio certification. The Alpine S2-S50 Next-Generation S-Series speakers are engineered to elevate your car audio with Hi-Res Audio certification, capable of reproducing sound up to 40kHz. This advanced capability, inspired by Alpine's premium systems, provides a more accurate and natural listening experience at an accessible price point. The speakers are constructed with a specialized blend of Poly Propylene, Glass Fiber, and Mica for the woofer cone, resulting in a lightweight design that delivers high output with minimal distortion. Featuring Alpine's exclusive High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround technology, the S2-S50 allows for greater cone excursion, producing powerful and precise bass notes. The integrated 3/4" coaxial tweeters ensure clear high-frequency reproduction, making these speakers a significant upgrade for your vehicle's sound system. The S2-S50 speakers boast a power handling of 55W RMS and 170W peak, with a sensitivity of 87dB and a frequency response of 80Hz - 40kHz. The mounting depth is 1.969 inches, facilitating installation in various vehicle locations. For added protection and a custom look, these speakers are compatible with the KTE-S50G Speaker Grille, which is sold separately. This grille offers both aesthetic appeal and physical defense against damage.
