5.2L Coyote Aluminator XS Crate Engine

The Ford Performance 5.2L Coyote Aluminator XS Crate Engine represents the pinnacle of naturally aspirated modular engine development from Ford Performance. It builds upon the technology and hardware of the Shelby GT350 Mustang to deliver an ultimate performance package. This engine boasts an impressive 580 horsepower at 7,800 RPM and 445 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,500 RPM, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated modular crate engine ever produced by Ford Performance. Each Aluminator engine is meticulously hand-assembled by technicians experienced in building Mustang Cobra Jet drag racing engines. It incorporates premium aftermarket components for enhanced durability, including unique Manley® H-beam connecting rods with ARP® rod bolts, Mahle® forged pistons with a low-friction coating, a forged steel crankshaft, and billet oil pump gears. Specific components from the Cobra Jet racing program are integrated, such as a short runner-high RPM intake manifold and a 1517 CFM dual 65mm Cobra Jet throttle body. The engineering behind the Aluminator 5.2 XS focuses on a balanced combination of high-end power and strong mid-range torque. This is achieved through the use of the Cobra Jet intake manifold, unique camshafts, and fully CNC-ported Shelby GT350 cylinder heads. The engine also includes a Ford Performance M-6675-M52 Shelby GT350 oil pan with integrated windage and slosh baffles, a billet steel gerotor oil pump gear set, and a 200 amp alternator with a Front Engine Accessory Drive (FEAD) kit. This crate engine is designed to work with 2015-2017 Mustang GT electronics, but a custom calibration is required. The vehicle harness and PCM are not included; Ford Performance Control Packs (M-6010-504V for manual or M-6010-M50A for automatic transmissions) are recommended. Additionally, the Cobra Jet intake manifold may require modifications to clear a production 2015-2017 Mustang hood. This engine is intended for off-highway application only and requires premium unleaded fuel.
