The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) 5.3 Gen V Truck Cam Kit is an engine performance upgrade designed for 2014 and newer Gen V LT truck engines. This kit allows for a complete cam swap, providing options for daily drivers managing DOD/AFM systems or those seeking enhanced performance for their project vehicles. The kit is available in multiple stages, each tailored to specific performance goals and drivability characteristics. Available in stages ranging from 1 to 4, these BTR cams offer distinct performance profiles. Stage 1 provides idle-to-6500 RPM operation with stock-like idle quality and a 1/10 chop scale, promising 35 horsepower and 25 lb/ft torque gains, ideal for enhancing stock power and low-end torque. Stage 2 offers a mild idle with a 3/10 chop scale and 44 HP/24 lb/ft gains, focusing on midrange torque.
