The Chevrolet Cylinder Head with Valves, part number 12699617, is a genuine GM component designed as a direct replacement for specific Gen V LT1, L86, and LT2 engines. This cylinder head comes complete with valvetrain components and is specifically designed for use with injectors that have 7.5mm stems, not 6mm. This cylinder head is intended for applications with 5.3L and 6.2L engines, excluding supercharged variants and the Z06/ZR1 models. It is a direct fit for a range of GM vehicles including the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon models. The part replaces GM part numbers 12620544, 12620545, 12678633, and 12678972. Compatibility extends across multiple model years, generally from 2014 through 2024, depending on the specific vehicle and engine configuration. For example, it fits 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with the 6.2L V8 - Gas engine in trims like Custom Trail Boss, High Country, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and RST. It also fits 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe models in the High Country trim with the 6.2L V8 - Gas engine. It's important to note that Chevrolet Performance heads may not fit 4.8L and 5.3L engines due to similar bore sizes.
