5.3L AFM Delete Camshaft Kit

The PML Engines PowerHouse DOD/AFM Delete Kit (LTAFMD53) is engineered to remove the complex Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system from your Gen V LT L83 5.3L engine. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary physical components to bypass the AFM system. Key parts include 8 DOD tower block-off plugs, a GM head bolt kit, four non-AFM lifter trays, GM L83 head gaskets or equivalent, water pump gaskets, a front main seal, a GM balancer bolt, and exhaust gaskets. It also comes with Delphi LS7 style lifters, a 5.3L AFM delete camshaft, and high-pressure fuel lines with a fuel pump gasket. This kit is compatible with 2014-2018 GMC Sierra and Yukon 5.3L L83 models, as well as 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado and Tahoe 5.3L L83 models, and any other vehicle equipped with an L83 LT Engine. It is important to note that removal of the AFM/DOD system requires a re-calibration of the ECU. The vendor offers optional Diablosport handheld tuners for AFM enable/disable and performance tuning, as well as HP Tuners kits for custom tuning. Optional parts like replacement oil pumps, timing chain components, and upgraded camshafts are also available.
