5.3L Long Tube Headers

The Pacesetter 70-2269 long tube headers are engineered for 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon vehicles equipped with the 5.3L engine. These headers are constructed from durable, 16-gauge mild steel tubing, utilizing mandrel bends to ensure optimal exhaust flow and performance gains. The primary tubes measure 1-7/8 inches in diameter, leading to a 3-inch collector. The flanges are CNC-machined from 3/8-inch thick steel with milled surfaces to guarantee a precise fit and a leak-free seal. Pacesetter headers are designed with ease of installation and maximum performance in mind. They come equipped with provisions for all factory sensors and connect to the stock exhaust system on most models, though a 3-inch Y-pipe is also available separately (PAC82-1177). The tubes enter the collector in the proper firing sequence to maximize scavenging efficiency. For specific applications, welding or fabrication may be required. Hardware, custom gaskets, and detailed step-by-step instructions are included. These headers are legal for sale and use in 49 states. Note that for California, specific design notes must be present on the application information page for smog legality; otherwise, they are not legal for sale or use in California. The catalytic converter will need to be relocated. Additionally, Y-pipes PAC82-1176 and PAC82-1177 will not fit 6.0L engines. The headers are finished in a black paint intended for pre-use protection during storage and shipment. Pacesetter offers an optional Armor*Coat finish for enhanced durability and heat resistance. These headers are backed by a manufacturer's 3-year limited warranty.
