The Eagle Specialty Products EAGCRS6657F3D connecting rods are engineered for demanding performance applications, offering a robust solution for Ford 5.4L V8 engines. Crafted from vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these H-beam rods provide superior strength and are significantly lighter than stock components, contributing to improved engine response and performance. Each rod undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including multi-stage heat treatment, X-ray inspection, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and 100% machining. The shot-peening process further enhances their durability by relieving internal stresses. These rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves for accurate placement and silicon bronze bushings suitable for floating pin designs. The set includes ARP rod bolts, specifically ARP2000 alloy with a tensile strength of 200,000 psi, known for their reliability under high stress. These connecting rods are sold as a weight-matched set to ensure optimal engine balance. While they are not specifically clearanced for stroker applications, they are recommended for competition use and performance builds, with an advertised horsepower rating of 750 hp. The set comes with necessary instructions and rod bolt lubrication for proper installation.
