5.5-Inch Lift Kit with 4-Link Conversion

The BDS Suspension BDS1694FPE is a comprehensive 5.5-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 2019-2024 Ram 3500 models equipped with gas engines and without rear overloads. This system converts the front suspension to a 4-Link setup, significantly improving suspension geometry for enhanced handling, stability, and strength. The kit is designed to accommodate up to 37-inch tires, increasing the truck's off-road capability and aggressive stance. Key components in the front include progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs tailored for gas engines, ensuring a comfortable and predictable ride across varied terrain. The 4-Link conversion utilizes heavy-duty 1/4-inch steel brackets and high-strength upper and lower control arms to optimize axle positioning and maintain proper caster throughout suspension travel. For steering correction, a forged drop pitman arm and a track bar drop bracket are included to minimize steering angle and keep the front axle centered. Sway bar relocation brackets and extended brake line brackets are also part of the front-end upgrade. The rear of the truck receives a 5-inch lift via a high-strength steel block and longer u-bolts. This lift kit comes with your choice of either BDS's NX2 Nitro shocks or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks for both the front and rear, offering tailored damping for improved performance. To maintain proper driveline angles with the increased height, a transfer case indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember are supplied. This ensures the factory front driveshaft can be used without modification. The 4-link system itself bolts onto the factory stamped steel radius arms, converting them to a more robust and geometrically advantageous setup that corrects axle positioning and limits caster changes.
