The BDS Suspension 5.5-inch lift kit with radius arm is engineered for 2014-2018 RAM 2500 gas-powered trucks featuring rear air ride and 4WD. This comprehensive kit is designed to elevate your truck's stance, performance, and off-road capability, while providing the necessary clearance for fitting up to 37-inch tires. Key components include high-strength tubular radius arms that replace the factory stamped steel arms. These arms offer caster adjustment and utilize OE-style rubber bushings at the frame mount for quiet operation. Up front, the kit features gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs made from high-tensile steel for a smooth and reliable ride. Steering geometry is optimized with a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to ensure proper alignment and centering of the front axle. This kit also addresses driveline angles at this lift height by including an indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember, allowing the use of factory front driveshafts. In the rear, heavy-duty air bag spacers, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, and bump stop extensions are provided. Notably, BDS includes new air ride leveling sensor brackets to reposition the ride height sensors, maintaining full air bag range of motion and factory ride height functionality. The kit is available with either BDS NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen-charged shocks to further enhance ride and off-road performance. Recommended tire and wheel combinations for this kit include 37x12.50 tires with 17x8 wheels (5.625" backspace) or 18x9 wheels (4.5" backspace), and 35x12.50 tires with 17x9 wheels (4.5" backspace).
