The BDS Suspension 722FS/722H is a 5.5-inch suspension lift kit engineered to elevate the performance, stance, and capability of your Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon. This comprehensive kit provides the necessary components to accommodate up to 33-inch tires while significantly improving ground clearance and off-road protection through its high-clearance design. Up front, the lift system incorporates top-mounted strut spacers, robust 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers with a high-arched design, and multi-piece differential relocation brackets. To ensure proper steering geometry at the increased ride height and maintain Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system compatibility, the kit includes CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends. Additional front components comprise sway bar links, bump stop extensions, and CV spacers. In the rear, the kit features a heavy-duty fabricated lift block that replaces the stock component, preserving ride quality and load capacity. New u-bolts are also provided, along with a choice of either NX2 Nitro or premium FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. Installation of this lift kit requires inner fender trimming and minor welding. It is important to note that stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled; aftermarket 20-inch wheels with a maximum of 5.25-inch backspacing are recommended. Certain wheel and tire combinations may require weld-on steering stops, which are included. The kit will not fit ZR2 models, but it is compatible with diesel engine variants.
