This RWD oil pan offers a 5.5-quart capacity and a compact sump design with a depth of approximately 7.75 inches, providing crucial clearance for most cross-frames and enhancing ground clearance. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for installation: a 5.5-quart RWD oil pan, oil pickup tube with screen, oil pan gasket, oil pan bolts, windage tray, windage tray bolts, and dipstick with tube. Compatibility considerations include: Windage trays may require spacers for stroker crankshafts, and users should check for clearance with aftermarket connecting rods or stroker crankshafts. Additionally, LM4 and LS1/LS2 GTO engines will require the engine block to be drilled for the dipstick tube insertion. The product uses AC Delco PF48E oil filters, which are not included.
