5.5L AMG XL Heat Exchanger

The PLM Mercedes Benz 5.5L AMG Heat Exchanger XL is an upgraded intercooler designed for E55, CLS55, and SL55 AMG models. This XL version offers a 25% larger surface area compared to the standard model to combat overheating issues common in supercharged AMG vehicles, especially under demanding conditions or increased boost.

It features a 2.25-liter fluid capacity and 4000 square inches of fin area for enhanced heat dissipation and reduced intake air temperatures (IAT). The heat exchanger mounts in the stock position and is constructed with non-epoxied, furnace-brazed cores and CNC-machined billet aluminum necks for durability and optimal heat transfer. It does not require cutting or modifications for installation on E55 models.
