The Maxilite steel wheel is a 5.5x16 inch replacement designed to offer an OE steel aesthetic. Finished in silver, it measures 5.5 inches wide with a 16-inch diameter and a 5x205 mm bolt circle, complemented by a 20 mm offset and a 158.0 mm center bore. This wheel is presented as a direct fit, with the source noting that original screw connections fit. This wheel carries a certificate from the German TÜV, an organization known for its stringent wheel testing. The TÜV parts certificate specifically lists compatibility for Porsche models, including the 356 A/B series produced between 1955 and 1963. It is also compatible with certain Volkswagen models, such as the Beetle and Karmann Ghia up to model year 1967, and Type 3 models up to 1969.
