5/7 Drop Kit

The DJM Suspension DJM2057-5/7 lowering kit is engineered to give your 1992-1999 Chevy C2500 or C3500 (8 Lug) truck a dramatically lowered profile, achieving a 5-inch drop in the front and a 7-inch drop in the rear. This "slam kit" transforms your 1-ton truck into a ground-hugging machine. Up front, the 5-inch drop is facilitated by a set of DJM drop spindles paired with lowering coil springs. This design allows for proper factory alignment, protecting your valuable tires from premature wear, though it requires careful driving due to the reduced ground clearance. For the rear, the kit features an axle flip kit designed to provide a full 7-inch drop. This is achieved by mounting the axle on top of the thick 1-ton leaf springs. To maintain adequate suspension travel and shock orientation with this extreme drop, the kit includes necessary components for C-notching the frame and shock extenders. This comprehensive kit also includes the specific DJM SuperShocks required for the lowered stance: the 13.5" Stem / Loop SuperShock (1315) for the front, the 20.5″ Loop/Loop SuperShock (2000) for the rear driver's side, and the 22.5″ Loop/ Loop SuperShock (2200) for the rear passenger's side. Installation requires significant modifications, including C-notching the frame, but the result is a striking aesthetic upgrade.
