The MMX 5.7 VVT HEMI Performance Camshaft Kit is a high-performance valvetrain upgrade engineered to increase horsepower and low-end torque in 5.7L VVT Hemi engines. Developed through extensive research and development, this camshaft provides a direct performance increase while maintaining compatibility with factory engine components. As a "No Tune Required" (NTR) and "No Springs Required" (NSR) solution, it simplifies the upgrade process for enthusiasts seeking improved engine responsiveness. This camshaft is designed exclusively for non-MDS lifters. It is strictly incompatible with MDS lifters, and use with such hardware must be avoided. Furthermore, while the camshaft functions with the factory engine calibration, it mandates that the MDS system be turned off within the vehicle's PCM. Professional PCM unlocking or tuning to disable MDS is a required step for proper operation. No phazer limiter, upgraded valve springs, or new pushrods are required for installation. The kit is intended to integrate with existing stock valvetrain components, though optional kits for gaskets, lifters, and timing sets are available to facilitate a complete installation.
