Description

The Mopar Performance Cold Air Intake (CAI) is engineered as a bolt-on system to enhance engine performance by channeling cooler outside air directly into the intake manifold. This design helps to improve combustion efficiency, leading to noticeable gains in horsepower and torque across a range of atmospheric conditions. The system includes a high-flow, directional cone filter made of dry-media, which is both washable and reusable. It is crucial not to oil dry-media filters to maintain their filtering integrity. All necessary mounting hardware for installation is provided within the kit. This cold air intake is exclusively designed for 5.7L engines. Specific fitment notes apply to the Dodge Challenger; installation on a Challenger requires the use of the T/A Hood Venting System (P/N 82212435AB) and the 5.7L Engine with T/A Hood (P/N 822111665AD).
