The Modern Muscle Xtreme 5.7L HEMI Forged 2618 Drop-In Pistons and Rods Power Package (MMP-57FPRP) is engineered for enthusiasts looking to add boost or nitrous to their 5.7 HEMI engine. This kit is designed as a drop-in solution, eliminating the need for engine balancing and reducing downtime. MMX rates this package for 1100 rear-wheel horsepower, with actual customer experiences exceeding 1300 wheel HP using these components. The package includes MAHLE Modern Muscle proprietary design pistons forged from 2618 material, featuring coated skirts and ring lands. The pistons utilize a .188 wall thickness with .927 diameter wrist pins, a top ring moved down, an accumulator groove between the first and second rings, and a Napier oil control second ring. A standard premium ring package of 1mm, 1mm, 2mm is included. Compression ratio ranges from 9.7 to 10.2 depending on gasket selection. The package also includes Molnar or Callies Connecting Rods with a length of 6.242 inches and ARP 2000 rod bolts. *PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION & CLEARANCE CONFIRMATION REQUIRED*. This kit is available in standard bore, +.010 overbore, and +.030 overbore sizes, with oversized pistons potentially requiring block machining. Optional components such as ring compressors, bearings, and head gaskets by Cometic are available for purchase to complete the installation. Buyers should ensure compliance with local and state emissions laws before purchasing.
