The MMX 5.7L HEMI Forged 2618 Drop-In Pistons and Rods Power Package is engineered for enthusiasts looking to add boost or nitrous to their 5.7 HEMI engine. This kit is designed as a direct drop-in replacement, eliminating the need for engine balancing and reducing downtime. MMX rates this package for 1100 RWHP, with many customers reportedly exceeding 1300 wheel horsepower using these components. The pistons are constructed from 2618 material and feature a proprietary MAHLE Modern Muscle Design. They boast a .188 wall thickness and a .927 diameter wrist pin, with a top ring moved down and an accumulator groove between the first and second rings. A Napier oil control second ring is standard. The package includes a 1mm, 1mm, 2mm premium ring set, coated skirts, and coated ring lands. The compression ratio ranges from 9.7 to 10.2, contingent on gasket selection. The connecting rods are manufactured by Molnar or Callies, measuring 6.242 inches in length, and are equipped with ARP 2000 rod bolts. This power package requires professional installation and clearance confirmation. Optional components include ring compressors, various bearing options (STD P rod bearing, STD H performance rod bearing, coated rod bearings, or coated rod and premium main bearings), and gasket options (Cometic .040 or .052 5-layer head gaskets). Piston options include Standard Bore, +.010 Oversized, and +.030 Overbore, with oversized pistons necessitating block machining.
