The Kooks Headers 2151H230 is a high-performance emissions header and connection kit specifically engineered for the 1997-2000 Chevrolet Corvette C5 equipped with the 5.7L LS1/LS6 engine. This system features 1-3/4 inch by 3 inch long tube headers constructed from T304 aircraft-quality stainless steel, ensuring exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The kit also includes a 3ft by 3ft GREEN Catted Stainless X-Pipe, designed to integrate seamlessly with your vehicle's 2-1/2 inch OEM-style exhaust system. Crafted with Kooks' legacy of high-performance exhaust systems, this kit is built to maximize power gains and enhance exhaust flow. Kooks Headers and Exhaust has been a leader in the industry for over 50 years, with products handcrafted in the USA. Installation of these long tube headers will require the removal of the OEM catalytic converters. Additionally, a Kooks Connection pipe or Kooks Header-Back exhaust system is necessary for proper use. To achieve the maximum benefit and performance from this upgrade, an ECU tune is required. This product comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser.
