5.9 24V Cummins 1998.5-2002 VP Workhorse Plus Cylinder Head Reman Choate Performance

This "Workhorse Plus" cylinder head is designed for extreme demands (heavy towing, drag racing, sled pulling). It's built from a renewed, pressure-tested OEM core with new, high-quality internal components. Key features include HD Valve Springs, O-rings cut into the deck surface for improved sealing, and a rigorous inspection/machining process. This process includes intensive cleaning, stress-relieving, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), resurfacing (exceeding OEM Ra specs), custom blueprinting for valve train geometry, altering valve stem heights to remove lifter preload, three-angle profile valve seats, reground and inspected valves, and new valve stem seals, valve seats, valve guides, and injector cups. Each head is pressure tested at 40 PSI and fitted with threaded, blow-proof plugs.
