The DFC Diesel Remanufactured Street Series Long Block Crate Engine, MPN SS590002LB, is designed for 2000-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel (Manual & Automatic) vehicles. It is machined using advanced Rottler equipment to tighter than factory tolerances, utilizing high-quality cores to ensure reliability and durability. This engine features upgrades for high performance without sacrificing reliability, including head studs and improved gasket sealing methods in common leakage areas. The cylinder head is remanufactured with new cast guides and new MAHLE or SBI valves, and new SBI valve seats are installed to prevent premature cracking. This long block includes a remanufactured cylinder head, internal components, front & rear cover, oil pan, and a complete gasket kit for installation, with all rockers and pushrods preset to factory specifications. A $500 crate charge is included in the core charge total, and the engine shipping crate must be returned with the core engine to receive full core credit.
