Description

Remanufactured short block for 1989-1993 Dodge D/W trucks with 5.9L Cummins diesel. Addresses OEM shortcomings with Choate billet freeze plugs, new oil pump, and full CNC blueprint machining (boring, decking, honing, line honing). Engine block surfaced to 30 Ra or lower for MLS Head Gaskets. Balanced rotating assembly includes new pistons, rings, pin retainers, OE tappets. Crankshaft polished and ground to .0005 inches or less concentricity. Includes new rod, main, and cam bearings. "Daily Driver" model rated for 500+ HP, suitable for spirited daily driving and consumer towing. Does not include cylinder head or bolt-on components (front cover, valve covers, intake, exhaust, fuel system, turbo components).
