The IE 5 Bar MAP Sensor Kit is engineered to replace the stock 3-bar Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) and Pressure Up Throttle (PUT) sensors on VW and Audi EA888 Gen 3 engines. This upgrade is essential for high-boost applications exceeding the factory sensor's limits, allowing for precise monitoring of increased manifold pressure when using larger turbochargers. This kit provides a direct, plug-and-play installation, eliminating the need for complex wiring harness conversions or custom adapters. The installation process is straightforward and can typically be completed in 30 minutes or less. It is critical to note that this sensor kit requires a specific 5-bar sensor calibration within your ECU tune. The kit includes one IE 5 Bar MAP Sensor and one IE PUT Sensor, along with detailed MAP and PUT scaling information.
