5 Bar MAP Sensor Kit

The IE 5 Bar MAP Sensor Kit is designed as a direct upgrade for the factory 3-bar MAP (manifold absolute pressure) and PUT (pressure up throttle) sensors found on VW & Audi MK7/8V GTI, Golf R, GLI, A3, and S3 EA888 Gen 3 engines. This kit increases the ECU's capability to read higher boost pressures, making it crucial for vehicles equipped with larger turbos that produce boost beyond the stock 3-bar limit. These sensors are engineered as exact-fit replacements for the stock units, utilizing our own sensor housings for a seamless integration into the factory charge piping and intake manifold. The installation is plug-and-play, requiring no complex wiring harness conversions or additional hardware adapters, making the upgrade process straightforward. Installation is designed to be quick and easy, typically taking 30 minutes or less. The kit includes one IE 5 Bar MAP Sensor and one IE PUT Sensor. Please note that a specific 5-bar sensor calibration within your ECU tune is required; this kit should not be installed with ECU tunes designed for stock sensors.
