The Tanks Inc. TAN-GML is a 5-bolt fuel sending unit engineered to provide accurate fuel level telemetry for GM 1965 and later applications. Featuring a durable ceramic board rheostat, this unit is designed to work with common 0-90 Ohm gauge configurations, ensuring precise readings for your fuel level gauge. The sending unit is highly versatile, with an adjustable design that allows it to be cut to length for fitment in fuel tanks ranging from 6 to 24 inches deep. It is compatible with a wide array of electrical systems, operating seamlessly on both 6-volt and 24-volt setups, as well as positive or negative ground architectures. Installation is straightforward using the included instructions, which provide guidance on sizing the unit to your specific tank depth. Please note that this component does not include a built-in fuel pickup tube, as may be found on some original equipment factory senders. As a dedicated sensor, it focuses exclusively on transmitting resistance-to-ground data to your gauge.
