The Audison SR 5.600 is a 5-channel Class D amplifier engineered to provide powerful audio amplification while maintaining an ultra-compact footprint. It features Audison's proprietary ADT (Audison D-Class Technology), which significantly reduces the amplifier's size without compromising audio performance. The amplifier's chassis is constructed from extruded aluminum with rounded corners, facilitating installation in tight spaces and utilizing generous heatsinks to eliminate the need for internal cooling fans, thereby preventing noise and dust accumulation. Designed for versatility, the SR 5.600 includes a comprehensive filter section suitable for various audio system configurations. The controls are conveniently located on the top panel for easy access, even after installation. The filter section can be fully excluded if the system incorporates an Audison bit processor. For enhanced user control, an optional VCR-S1 remote control is available, allowing adjustment of the subwoofer level. The amplifier is equipped with Audison USS (Universal Speakers Simulator) technology in its high-level inputs. This feature ensures compatibility with factory head units that employ 'speaker load detection' to enable audio outputs. Connectivity options are extensive, including balanced high-level inputs for OEM head unit speaker outputs and low-level RCA inputs for aftermarket sources. The ART (Automatic Remote On/Off) function allows the amplifier to power on with the head unit, and a remote IN/OUT socket enables control of multiple amplifiers in a cascade setup. The PRE-OUT signal, accessible via the Speaker-IN socket, permits system expansion by interfacing with OEM sources that only have amplified outputs.
