5-Channel Class D Car Amplifier

The Hertz HCP 5D is a versatile 5-channel Class D amplifier built for comprehensive car audio systems. It provides robust power output with 55 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms for the front and rear speakers, and 160 watts RMS at 4 ohms for the subwoofer. At 2-ohm impedance, the output increases to 90 watts x 4 channels and 280 watts x 1 channel. It boasts special balanced, high-noise rejection input circuitry for clean signal integrity, offering both Speaker-In (for OEM head units) and RCA-In (for aftermarket head units) connections. The amplifier is CEA compliant and includes an Automatic Remote Turn-On/Off feature with Speaker-In sensing. This amplifier is suitable for a full five-channel system with a subwoofer, or a three-channel front + sub system. It includes built-in, by-passable crossover systems for the front and rear channels, featuring bass boost and subsonic filters. For precise subwoofer volume control, an optional Hertz HRC (Hertz Remote Control) accessory is available and sold separately.
