The Kenwood KAC-M8005 is a 5-channel marine amplifier designed to power your entire sound system. It delivers 50 watts RMS to each of your four full-range speakers and up to 500 watts RMS to your subwoofer. For a different configuration, it can be set to 3-channel mode, powering components with 150 watts RMS per side while still sending 500 watts to the sub.

The amplifier features a conformal-coated circuit board, making it suitable for use in rough conditions on road, trail, or waterway. The speaker output terminals are protected by plastic-covered plugs, adding further durability.

The Kenwood KAC-M8005 is a 5-channel marine amplifier engineered to provide robust power for your entire audio system. It delivers 50 watts RMS to each of its four full-range speaker channels and can push up to 500 watts RMS to a single subwoofer channel at 2 ohms. For setups requiring more power to component speakers, the amplifier can be configured in a 3-channel mode, supplying 150 watts RMS to each of the two front channels while still providing 500 watts RMS to the subwoofer channel. Built to withstand challenging environments, the KAC-M8005 features a conformal-coated circuit board, offering protection against water and dirt. This design makes it ideal for applications in power sports and marine environments, ensuring reliable performance through rough conditions. Additionally, the speaker output terminals are equipped with plastic-covered plugs for enhanced protection of these critical connections. Key specifications include CEA-2006 compliance for reliable power ratings, with outputs of 50W RMS x 4 + 300W RMS x 1 at 4 ohms, and 75W RMS x 4 + 500W RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. When bridged, it produces 150W RMS x 2 at 4 ohms plus 500W RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. The amplifier also includes variable controls for low-pass filtering on the subwoofer channel (50-200 Hz at 24 dB/octave), separate high-pass filters on the front and rear channels (50-200 Hz at 12 dB/octave), and a variable bass boost for the subwoofer channel (0-18 dB at 40 Hz).
