The Dobinsons WA59-514K 5° Caster Correction Plate Kit is engineered to restore proper caster angles on lifted Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series models from 1990 to 1997 and 105 series models from 1998 to 2006. When these vehicles are lifted by 4" to 6", the front caster angle can be adversely affected, leading to compromised steering stability and handling issues. This kit provides a 5° correction, which is crucial for improving steering stability and ensuring the steering wheel returns to center after turns. Caster angle significantly impacts a vehicle's straight-line stability. Without correction, a lifted vehicle's positive caster angle is reduced, moving closer to zero and impairing steering performance. A professional 4x4 wheel alignment center can determine if caster correction is necessary. It features a simple bolt-on design and includes all necessary hardware for installation, aiming to save time and money by not requiring the removal of original bushes. However, some grinding is required to create proper clearance for the caster plates, and detailed instructions are supplied. While this kit is specifically for 4" to 6" lift heights, Dobinsons offers a wide range of suspension components for these vehicles, including replacement bushings and other alignment correction parts for different lift heights and applications.
