5" Downpipe Back Dual Race Pipe Kit

The SPELAB 5" Downpipe Back Dual Race Pipe Kit is crafted from durable T409 stainless steel. SPELAB has engineered this kit for straightforward installation, providing all necessary clamps, pre-welded contour-bent hangers, and reinforced flanges. This DPF and catalytic converter delete pipe is intended for use on non-registered race vehicles for closed-course competition events only. Installing or using this part on any emission-controlled vehicle may violate federal and/or state emissions laws and regulations. The product requires a DPF delete capable tuner to prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes. Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves eliminating emission-related sensors. Installation is estimated to take about 1 hour with basic hand tools and can be completed on the ground. Cutting may be required for shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, though some factory hardware may need to be reused. The system is designed to fit models equipped with the OEM style 4-bolt flange off the turbo direct pipe. Benefits of performing a DPF delete include a significant increase in fuel mileage, typically from 13-14 mpg to 18-19 mpg combined. It also eliminates the need for regular DPF servicing (cleaning, replacement) and removes the possibility of costly DPF failures. The reduced exhaust backpressure directly increases exhaust flow and motor performance, which, when paired with an ECU remap, is proven to increase power and torque.
