5-Inch 400cpsi GESi Performance Downpipe

The Unitronic Performance Downpipe is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2.0TSI MQB EA888.3 AWD vehicles, specifically designed to remove factory restrictions, decrease turbo lag, and refine the exhaust note. At its core is a 5-inch, 400 cells per square inch (cpsi) ultra-high output (UHO+) catalytic converter, a collaborative development with emissions partner Global Emissions Systems Inc (GESi), capable of handling up to 1000HP. The exhaust gases then pass through an OEM-style corrugated mesh flex bellow before entering the stainless steel midpipe section and reducer. This assembly is secured by a unique V-band fastening system featuring Clampco® clamps, ensuring perfect alignment, a leakproof connection, and preventing exhaust rotation during aggressive driving. Installation is designed as a direct OEM replacement, achievable within hours with moderate mechanical skill, thanks to precise fitment achieved through 3D modeling technology. The difficulty level is rated 4 out of 5. This performance downpipe is intended to be paired with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software for maximum power gains. Reducers are available for both factory and upgraded cat-back exhaust systems.
