5-Inch Air Intake System

The Integrated Engineering IEINDB1 is an air intake system engineered to significantly improve airflow and performance for compatible VW and Audi models. Its single-piece turbo inlet design eliminates the need for silicone couplers, reducing transitions and minimizing power-robbing turbulence. The system incorporates a true motorsport-inspired velocity stack with a bellmouth shape, designed to efficiently channel large volumes of air from the expansive 5-inch air filter surface area into the intake piping. This design aims for maximum airflow with minimal drag. Dyno testing indicates that upgrading to the iE intake system can yield substantial gains, with results showing up to +35 HP and +20 ft-lbs of torque over Stage 1 tuning with a stock intake. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically taking between 30-45 minutes with basic tools. This intake system is specifically designed for the 2022-2024 Volkswagen GTI (MK8), 2022-2024 Volkswagen Golf R (MK8), and 2022-2024 Audi S3 (8Y), all equipped with the 2.0T EA888 Gen 4 EVO engine. Optional accessories, such as a carbon fiber lid and a harsh climate filter with a pre-filter sock, are available for separate purchase to further enhance performance and protection.
