5-Inch Cold Air Intake Kit

The Integrated Engineering IEINCC2 Cold Air Intake Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your VW or Audi 2.0T TSI (Gen1/2) engine. Key features include a massive 5-inch velocity stack and a ram-air design, contributing to the most efficient air and horsepower possible. The intake system utilizes a high-flow bellmouth behind the oversized air filter to increase air velocity to the MAF sensor and draw cold air equally from all directions. A thermal blocking heat shield creates a barrier against engine bay heat, ensuring only cold air is drawn from the front of the vehicle. The kit includes all necessary piping and couplers for a direct fit, utilizing OE mounting grommets and hardware for reliable installation without rubbing or interference. This cold air intake is compatible with the following vehicles equipped with 2.0T TSI (EA888 Gen1/2) engines: AUDI A3 (MK2/8P) 2008-2013, VW MK5 GTI late 2009, VW MK6 GTI 2010-2014, VW MK6 Jetta/GLI 2011-2013.5, and VW CC 2009-2017. It is important to note that this intake is exclusively for 2.0T TSI (timing chain driven) EA888 Gen1 & Gen2 engines. Early model 2.0T FSI (timing belt driven) EA113 engines and late model EA888 Gen3 engines require different intakes. Additionally, CBFA engine codes are equipped with a secondary air injection (SAI) pump and will require an SAI filter kit, sold separately, while CCTA engine codes do not. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about an hour with basic tools. The kit supports over 500HP and offers enhanced throttle response, a more pronounced turbo spool, and a satisfying bump in power across the rev range, transforming the driving experience.
