The BDS Suspension BDS081401 is a 5-inch drop pitman arm engineered to correct steering geometry for lifted 1973-1991 Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs. After lifting a vehicle, installing a drop pitman arm is highly recommended to re-establish a parallel relationship between the pan rod bar and drag link, thereby correcting steering alignment. It effectively reduces steering vibration and helps to minimize bump steer, contributing to a more stable and predictable driving experience.
