5-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 5-inch lift kit with radius arms is engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2020-2022 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty 4WD gas trucks. This comprehensive kit provides clearance for up to 37-inch tires, transforming your vehicle's appearance and off-road potential. Heavy-duty tubular radius arms replace the factory stamped steel components, offering caster adjustment and maximizing ground clearance. Steering geometry is optimized with a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to maintain proper angles and recenter the front axle. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block to achieve a level stance and includes longer u-bolts. The system comes with precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks, with options for NX2 Nitro Series or FOX Performance Series shocks, including the FOX 2.0 Performance Series and FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series with DSC adjustability. Installation is described as a moderate, 5-hour, 100% bolt-on process. Important notes include potential front exhaust modification for the front driveshaft (Gas Only) and that Tremor models will not achieve the full advertised lift height due to their taller factory ride height. Larger tires on stock wheels are not recommended due to brake line clearance requirements, and minor trimming may be necessary for 37x12.50 tires on certain wheel setups. A torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs is required for installation. Additionally, Ford recommends replacing the pitman arm nut after each removal, and a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required for trucks with a 2-piece rear driveshaft. A safety recall (21S31) for rear driveline vibration on some trucks should be addressed prior to installation.
