5-Inch Lift Kit w/ NX2 Shocks

The BDS Suspension BDS1431FS is a 5-inch suspension lift kit engineered to significantly upgrade the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This comprehensive kit is designed not only to improve the vehicle's stance but also to enhance its off-road capability, providing ample clearance for tires up to 33 inches in diameter. The kit features BDS's exclusive Glide-Ride leaf springs, which utilize a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design for a smooth ride regardless of load. These springs incorporate tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap for durability. Included components also consist of new u-bolts, front and rear track bar relocation brackets to ensure axle centering, stainless steel braided brake lines for reliable stopping power, sway bar disconnects for improved articulation, a power steering pitman arm, bump stop extensions to prevent bottoming out, and a transfer case drop kit to mitigate driveline angles. Complementing the suspension components are the specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks. The combination of these elements aims to deliver a balanced and capable suspension system for demanding off-road use while maintaining a comfortable ride for daily driving.
