5-Inch Lift Kit with 4-Link Conversion

The BDS Suspension 5-inch 4-Link lift kit is engineered to elevate the performance, stance, and capability of your dual rear wheel (DRW) Ford F350 Super Duty diesel truck. This comprehensive system is designed to provide clearance for up to 37-inch tires, transforming your truck for enhanced off-road adventures. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs and a 4-Link control arm conversion to optimize suspension geometry for improved handling and stability. It also features a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation components, brake line brackets, and custom-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. To accommodate the lifted height and utilize the factory front driveshaft, an indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember are included. The rear of the truck is lifted using a high-strength fabricated block and longer u-bolts, along with updated brake line brackets. Complementing the front components, the rear of the kit is equipped with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Shocks. These shocks feature remote reservoirs for improved cooling, DSC adjusters for precise tuning (10 low-speed, 12 high-speed compression levels), and a durable black anodized aluminum construction. Important considerations for installation include that Ford recommends replacing the pitman arm nut. If your truck has a top-mounted overload spring with a spacer block taller than 1-1/8", a specific UBT4027 block (Qty: 4) is required. A pitman arm puller is needed to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper. For trucks with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, BDS123402 Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be necessary. Tremor models will not achieve the full advertised lift due to their taller factory ride height. Larger tires on stock wheels are not recommended due to brake line clearance; use recommended specs in the wheel and tire fitment section. Minor trimming might be required for 37x12.50 tires on certain wheel setups. Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs. If your truck has a rear driveline vibration, BDS recommends addressing Ford's Safety Recall 21S31 prior to installation. Vehicles with radius arm-mounted ride height sensors need BDS123303, and those with leaf spring ride height sensors must select the rear block option. The estimated installation time is 8-10 hours with a difficulty level of 'Difficult,' requiring specialty tools such as a cut-off tool and pitman arm puller.
