5-Inch Lift Kit with Fox 2.0 Shocks

The BDS Suspension 5-inch lift kit is engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of your 1969-1973 Dodge RAM 1500 and 2500 4WD truck. This comprehensive kit provides a 5-inch lift front and rear, utilizing Glide-Ride leaf springs with a progressive rate for a smoother ride, and high-strength lift blocks in the rear. It includes components such as a 3-inch steering block to correct steering linkage angles, brake line brackets, and an add-a-leaf for the rear. The kit comes equipped with Fox 2.0 Performance Series Internal Floating Piston monotube shocks, featuring an aluminum body, application-specific valving, and a durable finish for superior on- and off-road performance. This lift system is designed to accommodate up to 35-inch tires. Installation is straightforward with a 100 percent bolt-on design, requiring no cutting or drilling. However, certain considerations apply: On models with Saginaw or Corporate type front driveshafts, the CV cluster may require dressing to prevent binding. Anti-Sway bar links will need to be sectioned and lengthened. This kit is not for heavy-duty 3/4 ton models. Additionally, the Inner Diameter of the bushing may be smaller than the mounting pin, requiring lubrication and extra effort during installation. The included steering block (#082501) is specifically designed for Dana 44 axles with a 3-bolt knuckle.
