5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The Rough Country 5-inch suspension lift kit (Part # 43130-RC) is engineered to provide commanding ground clearance and an aggressive lifted stance for 1998-2011 Ford Ranger 4WD and 1998-2009 Mazda B4000 4WD models. This all-inclusive kit aims to increase ride height, clear up to 33-inch tires, and maintain a level front-to-rear profile. The comprehensive package includes structural elements like front and rear crossmembers, as well as lifted knuckles to reposition steering geometry. It also features differential brackets for securing the housing, anti-wrap rear blocks for driveline torque control, and bump stops and U-bolts for rear axle assembly. Extended brake lines are provided to accommodate increased suspension travel, and upper control arm cam bolts allow for precise caster and camber adjustment. The kit is completed with N3 nitrogen-charged shocks, featuring 10-stage variable valving for enhanced on and off-road performance. This lift kit has several important fitment notes and requirements. It necessitates the use of 17-inch or larger wheels and will not fit smaller diameter OE wheels. Models equipped with 11.25-inch rotors, commonly found on some 1998-2003 vehicles, are not compatible and require an upgrade to 12.1-inch rotors before installation. Furthermore, it does not fit models with a 31-spline rear axle, so verifying axle spline count is crucial. Vehicles with pulse vacuum hub (PVH) ports routed through the knuckle will need to be converted to manual hubs, which may require specialty tools. Rough Country highly recommends an upgraded driveshaft for optimal performance and durability. Installation requires a torsion bar tool.
