5-Lug Front Manual Drum-to-Disc Conversion Kit

The Opentracker Racing disc brake kit provides a comprehensive solution for converting front manual drum brakes to OE Kelsey-Hayes type 4-piston calipers. This set includes all necessary components for the swap, such as corrosion-protected calipers, dust shields, brake pads, braided stainless steel hoses, wheel bearings, seals, and an adjustable proportioning valve. The kit is designed for vehicles already equipped with V8 drum brake type spindles, which are required for installation but not included. Compatibility is extensive, covering 1965-1973 Mustang, 1963-1969 Falcon/Comet, 1962-1969 Fairlane, 1967-1973 Cougar, 1969-1977 Maverick/Comet, and 1975-1980 Granada/Monarch models. Note that 1960-1962 Falcon/Comet models require upper control arm replacement for compatibility, and users with pre-1966 Falcon or pre-1967 Mustang 6-cylinder cars must install the 8-cylinder type spindle (P/N 7365). Installation requires users to adapt or re-fabricate hard brake lines to integrate the included proportioning valve and master cylinder properly. Most original 14-inch V8 wheels are compatible with this setup.
