The Nilight 5-pack waterproof relay and harness is a reliable solution for managing electrical loads in off-road vehicles, boats, and dirt track cars frequently exposed to moisture or mud. Each relay is engineered with a 5-pin SPDT configuration and housed in a tightly sealed unit featuring a reinforced cap and seal ring, providing superior protection against dust, water, and environmental moisture. The set includes a heavy-duty, pre-wired harness featuring 12AWG tinned copper wire for the primary contacts and 16AWG wiring for the coil trigger pins. The color-coded wiring harness simplifies the installation process, utilizing a black wire for pin 85, white for pin 86, red for pin 30, yellow for pin 87a, and blue for pin 87. An interlocking design on the sockets allows for clean, secure mounting and easy organization when installing multiple components. Technical specifications include a maximum switching current of 40 amps and a 12V DC coil voltage, with a maximum applied coil voltage of 15.6V DC. The relays feature copper contact material and provide a maximum switching power of 560W. Note that the 12V and 14V ratings refer to the coil voltage, not the trigger voltage for the switch.
