The RCM 5 Speed Lightweight Flywheel Assembly is precision-engineered from a single piece of steel billet, weighing just 5.1Kgs. This represents a weight saving of over 5Kgs compared to the standard OEM flywheel. It is designed specifically for all 5-speed Imprezas using a pull-type clutch. Manufactured to high standards, the RCM flywheel features a durable blackodised finish to protect against corrosion. The assembly comes complete with a new spigot bearing, clutch cover location dowels, fitting instructions, and the necessary torque settings for flywheel bolts. RCM flywheels are a direct replacement for the standard unit and are compatible with any standard-sized clutch kit. The primary benefit of installing this lightweight flywheel is the reduction of rotational mass. This allows the engine to rev more freely, resulting in a more responsive vehicle with improved acceleration from low RPMs.
