The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMT5F-9 is a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission designed for the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang with 3.8L and 3.9L engines. This transmission features an aluminum, removable bell housing, a top cover, and the shifter is situated in the tail housing. It utilizes a slip yoke for the rear output shaft and has a Hollander Number of 400-03362. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes quality throughout their remanufacturing process, with quality inspections conducted three times. This includes a pre-inspection to identify case cracks or excessive wear, a second inspection during the remanufacturing to ensure all component parts meet OEM specifications, and a final post-build inspection to meet strict standards.
