5" Turbo-Back Exhaust DPF & Cat Delete Pipe

The SPELAB 5" Turbo-Back Exhaust system is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2003 Dodge Ram 5.9L Diesel. By eliminating DPF and catalytic converter restrictions, this exhaust system aims to significantly lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), improve turbo spool response, and increase overall engine power. The use of mandrel-bent tubing maximizes flow efficiency, allowing your diesel engine to breathe more freely and produce that characteristic Cummins exhaust note. Constructed from T-409 stainless steel, this 5-inch diameter exhaust system is 2mm thick, providing a balance of durability, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. The material is magnetic, which is typical for T-409 stainless steel, offering a more affordable alternative to T-304 while still ensuring longevity. Installation is estimated to take about 1 hour with basic hand tools, though a lift can speed up the process. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, but some factory hardware may need to be reused. Cutting may be required for shorter wheelbase configurations. Importantly, a DPF delete capable tuner is required after installation to prevent check engine lights and diagnostic trouble codes, as emission-related sensors are removed. This system is intended for off-road use only, as DPF removal is illegal for on-road vehicles in most regions.
