The Motorcraft Yellow Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant is a premium ethylene glycol-based fluid specifically formulated to provide immediate corrosion protection and resistance to chemical deposits in modern engines and electric motors. As a pre-diluted 50/50 mixture, it is ready to use directly from the bottle, eliminating the need for additional water. It meets stringent Ford Specification WSS-M97B57-A2 and ASTM D 3306 standards, ensuring compatibility and performance for vehicles requiring this specific coolant type. This coolant offers an extended service life, with an initial change-out interval of 10 years or 200,000 miles, followed by service every 5 years or 100,000 miles thereafter. It provides reliable thermal management with freeze protection down to -34 °F (-36.7 °C) and boiling protection up to 265 °F (129 °C). The formula includes a bittering agent for safety. It is critical to use the correct coolant for your cooling system. Do not mix different colors or types of antifreeze/coolant unless specifically directed by the vehicle manufacturer, as improper mixing can harm the engine or cooling system components and may void the vehicle warranty.
