The Ikon Motorsports exhaust wrap is a versatile solution for managing heat in your vehicle's exhaust system. Measuring 50 feet in length, 2 inches in width, and 1/16th of an inch in thickness, this wrap is constructed from durable vermiculite-coated high-temperature fiberglass. Its red color adds a visual element while its material composition is engineered to withstand extreme conditions, rated for 1200°F direct and 2000°F intermittent temperatures. This exhaust wrap offers several benefits, including high resistance to chemicals, oil spills, and abrasions. It effectively reduces temperature and vibration breakdown, contributing to a more stable under-hood environment. It can reduce under-hood temperatures by a significant 50%, offering added durability and heat retention. Furthermore, it is stated to improve power and protect other vital components in the engine bay. The product is a universal fit, suitable for headers, turbo manifolds, downpipes, and general piping applications. Installation instructions are not included with the product.
