The Hedman Hedders 66067 is a standard-duty, silver-coated, 50-state legal long-tube header system specifically engineered for 1971-1991 Chevrolet and GMC Class C conversion vans and motorhomes equipped with 283-400 cubic inch Small Block Chevy engines. Constructed from durable mild steel, these headers boast a 1-5/8 inch tube diameter and a 3-inch ball-and-socket style collector that eliminates the need for gaskets. The HTC (High Temperature Coating) polished silver ceramic-metallic finish provides thermal protection up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit, offers superior durability compared to chrome, and resists bluing or discoloration. This header set is designed to retain emissions control devices, making it compliant for sale and use in all 50 states, carrying E.O. # D167-33. They are compatible with air conditioning, power steering, and all automatic and manual transmission column or floor shift configurations. The package includes the headers, ball and socket reducers, gaskets for the cylinder heads, and all necessary mounting hardware for installation. The reducer outlet size and exhaust system diameter are both 2-1/2 inches.
